Unwanted West Country clothes help raise over £22,000 for charity

Donations of unwanted clothes, shoes and textile items to clothes banks located in car parks across Cornwall and Devon has helped raise £22,000 of valuable funds for charitable causes in less than three and a half years. Set up as a partnership between Salvation Army Trading Company Ltd (SATCoL) and St Austell Brewery Charitable Trust, the scheme has seen over 84 tonnes of clothes collected from 50 banks across the region since January 2012.
