To provide additional income to a range of charities
They fulfil their objectives by:-
-
Offering opportunities to people (younger & older) who find work difficult to obtain
-
Providing supported employment for those with disabilities, which otherwise make it difficult for them to integrate into a conventional workplace
-
Re-using & recycling unwanted books that would otherwise have gone to landfill
-
Purchasing unwanted books
The company has worked with the Retail Division for 5 years and collects books from the charity shops in Scotland.
Tom Kenny, Managing Director writes
‘ We consider working with charity shop suppliers a two way process, that over time becomes a partnership. The code of conduct was a good opportunity for us to take on best practice and have an independant review of our processes.
